Mystery Babylon only rules for a short time.
The Bible tells us that Mystery Babylon will rule only a short time:
(".. he must remain only a little while."-- Revelation 17:10).
Mystery Babylon will then be overtaken by the Antichrist through deception and the
help of a foreign god:
"He
[the Antichrist]
shall deal with the strongest fortresses
[Mystery Babylon]
with the help of a foreign god
[fallen angel].
Those who acknowledge him he shall load with honor. He shall make them rulers over many and shall divide the land for a price."
--- Daniel 11:39
"And he called out with a mighty voice,
'Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great!
She has become a dwelling place for demons,
a haunt for every unclean spirit,
a haunt for every unclean bird,
a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast.
3 For all nations have drunk
the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality,
and the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her,
and the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living.'
4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying,
'Come out of her, my people,
lest you take part in her sins,
lest you share in her plagues;'
5 for her sins are heaped high as heaven,
and God has remembered her iniquities."
--- Revelation 18:2-5
The best approach to this evil one-world government is not to become a part of it from its inception.
Many born-again Christians that understand this will be homeless and penniless but at least not tainted by sin, having not embraced the evil system from the beginning.
This poverty and persecution is shown after the second seal is broken:
"I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich),
[spiritually rich]
and the blasphemy by those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days."
--- Revelation 2:9-10 NASB
