"How" Jesus Comes Back

Why it is Important to Know

The Bible describes Jesus' return, also known as the Second Coming, as a glorious and visible event, with Jesus appearing on the clouds with power and great glory, and no one knowing the exact timing except the Father.

When He comes,
there will be no doubt who He is.
Everyone will Recognize Him.

And at that time the sign of the Son of Man [coming in His glory] will appear in the sky,... and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory [in brilliance and splendor]. [amplified version]
--- Matthew 24:30

"For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."
--- Matthew 24:27

"And I looked and saw a white cloud, and seated on the cloud was One like the Son of Man, with a golden crown on His head and a sharp sickle in His hand."
--- Revelation 14:14

How Jesus Comes:

Jesus's return will be a literal, visible event, similar to his ascension into heaven. He will come with power and glory, and every eye will see him.

Similar to His Ascension:
"... This Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven." --- Acts 1:11

With Power and Glory:
..."glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ," -- Titus 2:13
"And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory." --- Luke 21:27

Coming on the Clouds and Every Eye Will See Him:
Revelation 1:7 states, "Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen."

He will come seated:
"seated at the right hand of Power and coming on the clouds of heaven." Matthew 26:64

He will like lightning:
"For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."

He will come with angels:
"For the Son of Man will come in His Father’s glory with His angels, and then He will repay each one according to what he has done."
--- Matthew 16:27

He will come soon:
"I am coming soon. Hold fast what you have, so that no one may seize your crown."
--- Matthew 16:27

Concerning His coming, Jesus warns us:
"And Jesus answered them, 'See that no one leads you astray. For many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ,' and they will lead many astray."
--- Matthew 24:4-5

Jesus implies that imposters will come:
"So, if they say to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out. If they say, 'Look, he is in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man."
--- Matthew 24:26-27

(It is important to note that the "inner rooms" in this verse is refering to the "Holy of Holies" in the temple of Jerusalem. Other names for the Holy of Holies are inner sanctuary, innermost chamber, secret chamber, or inner room.

I believe that Jesus is alluding to the Antichrist who will sit in the Holy of Holies or "inner room" and announce that he is God; Do NOT believe him.

The Antichrist will come as a false messiah. This marks the beginning of the Great Tribulation and is called "abomination of desolation.")
(Daniel 9:27, Matthew 24:15)

And He warns us to stay awake:
"Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming."
--- Matthew 24:42

He further warns us to be ready:
"Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect."
--- Matthew 24:44

Take away and final thoughts:

Jesus is coming back: It will be sudden, brilliant, glorious, and on the clouds for everyone to see.
The Antichrist will try to couterfeit Jesus and so it is important to know exactly how Jesus comes back.
If someone says he is Jesus and does not comes in this way, then they are NOT Jesus.
